Local Schools Compete in Thrilling Quiz Contest at Mother's Pride Pataudi
Mother's Pride School Pataudi recently hosted an engaging inter-school quiz competition, drawing participation from ten schools in the region. The event, a testament to the dedication of the school's teachers, showcased the academic prowess of students across three different age groups.
The program began with traditional rituals, including a lamp lighting ceremony performed by the school principal, invited school teachers, and coordinators Mrs. Ragini Shrivastava and Mrs. Reena Jauhari. Students from the host school recited the Gayatri Mantra and set an energetic tone with a captivating welcome dance performance to the song "Aarambh hai prachand."
The competition was meticulously structured into three levels:
1. Level 1: Grades 4-5, with the theme "Our India"
2. Level 2: Grades 6-7-8, focusing on "Our Earth"
3. Level 3: Grades 9-10, exploring "Our Universe"
Each level commenced with a screening round to determine the top five schools, followed by intense competition rounds including one-on-one, fastest finger, and rapid-fire segments.
In Level 1, initiated by Mrs. Ragini Shrivastava, Mother's Pride School Pataudi's Miss Jestha and Master Naitik Balyan clinched the top spot. Pathfinder School Pataudi's Miss Sanaya and Miss Navya secured second place, while Jyoti Public School Sector 95 Gurugram's Master Aaditya Pratap and Master Aryan Kumar Pandey came in third.
Level 2, overseen by Mrs. Kiran Bisht, saw Mother's Pride School, Pataudi maintain their winning streak with Miss Aleena Yadav and Master Daksh Kumar. New Wave International School, Khandewala's Master Ojas and Miss Rashika claimed second, followed by Lady Florence School Sector 74 Gurugram's Master Mrityunjay and Master Jayant in third.
The competition culminated with Level 3, led by Mrs. Asha Kuntal Balyan. RRJS DAV School Haileymandi's Master Gaurav and Master Vaibhav emerged victorious, with Pathfinder School Pataudi's Master Deepansh Singh and Master Jatin Yadav in second, and Dronacharya Sr. Sec. School, Farrukhnagar's Miss Nishita and Master Sagar securing third place.
The event concluded with a formal prize distribution ceremony. School Principal Mrs. Rajni Yadav presented shields and certificates to the winners, recognizing their outstanding performance. Ms. Shweta Sharma delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, bringing the successful event to a close.
This inter-school quiz competition not only challenged the intellectual capabilities of the participants but also fostered a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie among the schools.
