 INTERNATIONAL GATEBALL TOURNAMENT CONCLUDES WITH GRAND CEREMONY IN PATAUDI

Pataudi, November 24 - 

The 10th Indian Open International Gateball Tournament 2024-25 concluded with a spectacular closing ceremony at Mother's Pride School, Pataudi. Mrs. Vimal Devi, MLA of Pataudi constituency, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, adding prestige to the grand finale.

The closing ceremony was marked by vibrant cultural performances, including a mesmerizing Bhangra dance by the school children, which showcased the rich cultural heritage of Haryana. The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Dawai Patnaik (President, Indian Gateball Union), Dr. Umakant Pani (Chairman, IGOT), Ms. Pai Chun Lin (APGI Representative), and the Taiwan team delegation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Vimal Devi emphasized the importance of international sporting events in promoting cultural exchange and youth development. She congratulated all participants and praised the school management for organizing such a prestigious tournament.

Mr. Shiv Kumar Gupta (Chairman), Mr. Amit Gupta (Director), and Mr. Yogesh Gupta (Co-director) of Mother's Pride School Pataudi expressed their gratitude to all participating teams and officials for making the tournament a grand success.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Shweta Sharma and Mrs. Neelam Sharma, who acknowledged the contributions of all stakeholders, including the organizing committee, participants, officials, and volunteers.

The tournament, which featured teams from Taiwan and various Indian states, has set a new benchmark in promoting Gateball in India and strengthening international sporting ties.
